PORTFOLIO SPOTLIGHT: Intention Marketing
We thought we would just show you a little bit about how we came up with Intention Marketing.Project Focus:
Create a company identity for a new business in a saturated market.Process:
First, we nailed down the basics: who is our target market and what services do we want to provide. The challenging part was what do we call ourselves? Our name had to reflect not only our expertise and capabilities, but also our beliefs, values, way of thinking, and passion for what we do. We ultimately wanted a unique brand name that had the ability to stir the emotions and get our customers excited about our services.
Why Intention? The dictionary defines intention as "a course of action that one intends to follow" or "an aim that guides action, a purpose." But that was not the only reason why it made perfect sense to us. We absolutely loved the definition given by Theresa A. Stuesser, author of Mosaic of Self, "Intention is about living, feeling, and breathing from a mind set of knowing the outcome already exists."
It is our belief that intention is what powers actions. Showing a company's intention is about bringing ideas to life and creating success and that is also why we picked www.showyourintention.com to be our web site address.
Finally, it was important to us to leave no doubt as to our type of business, so we added the Marketing to our brand name.
Result:
Logo
Our logo design reflects several things about our business. The "I" is different from the rest of the letters to show that we are unique and we will help your business stand out. It is also curved a little to show that we are flexible and will adjust our solutions to meet your needs. The colors were chosen to show that we are current in our thinking and understand what works in today's business climate.
